Field-level diffs
Diffs read like sentences: 'Canonical changed from X to Y.' Small fields show clear before-and-after values, while larger structures use precise summaries.
Signal over churn
Content drift thresholds filter out noise. A timestamp in a footer does not wake you up; a removed canonical can become a rule-backed Incident.
Release context
Record a deployment, complete a crawl and review when an Incident was first detected, reopened or resolved relative to that version or build.
Correlation, not causality
Deployment markers show temporal correlation between a release and an observed technical SEO change. CrawlDrift does not claim that a deployment caused an Incident without additional evidence.
